Artist Statement

I studied Jewellery design/making many years ago which led to my being able to fulfil a passion as an artist jeweller. Later I decided on a change of direction, and started designing and making images made from silver, as 2D artworks. Winning a few awards gave me the encouragement to persevere with this art form, and explore ideas in a creative way still using my favourite medium, silver. Each piece is totally handcrafted from sterling silver, and embellished with gems and freshwater pearls. My inspiration is nature, life and relationships. People often purchase my work to celebrate a relationship or because of their appreciation of the beauty of nature.
