Artist Statement

David paints using both acrylic and oil, working within his studio and Plein Air. He currently is a member of the West Australian Society of Arts and Perth Plein Air Painters. In 2023 David was awarded 1st prize for acrylic painting at The West Australian Society of Arts annual exhibition. He embraces different subjects including local scenes around Perth and Fremantle, nocturnal and Northern Western Australia.
