Artist Statement

I am a watercolour artist and active member of the Watercolour Society of WA who participates in workshops, plein air and exhibitions both locally and internationally. I developed a passion for watercolours over 25 years ago and enjoyed learning from the WA artist Peter Walker in the historic Fremantle Arts Centre. I love the effects that can be created by using water and colour and watching "the magic happen" - the transparency and luminosity, and of course, the watercolour papers.
