Artist Statement

Although I started my art journey painting in oils my preferred medium is now pastels. I love to paint nature, especially seascapes of the south coast of WA including Rottnest Island. As well as landscapes, I enjoy Still Life, Portraits from photographs of family and friends and also pets. I am a member of the Pastel Society of WA and West Australian Society of Arts. I exhibit at their annual exhibits and also the popular ART Matters group which exhibits in November at St Philips Church, Cottesloe.
