Artist Statement

Encouraged by her grandmother Kristy began painting at a young age and continues to enjoy art making in different mediums. Kristy originally comes from Ceduna, South Australia and has been inspired by the beautiful landscapes. Kristy moved to Adelaide where she continued her love of art at school and in to her adult life. Since moving to Perth, Kristy paints in her downtime at Karrakatta Community Group, a defence community group. This lifelong love of creative self-expression led Kristy to undertake graduate level professional development training in art therapy.
