When Jane moved to Australia she fell in love with the beautiful native flora and fauna. In 2015 Jane was trained as a King’s Park volunteer guide. The knowledge her gained about native plants helped to understand the plants and gave her inspiration. She started to draw them to help her remember the botanical names and make her guided talks more interesting. Some of Jane’s illustrations are still used by some Kings Park guides today. As her wildflower painting and drawing became more known she was invited to hold exhibitions and run workshops.
