I am an Australian watercolour artist, born in 1969, who rediscovered the medium in 2021 after first encountering it at school. Since returning to art, I have exhibited in Australia and internationally, with recognition growing through sales and awards. My work is driven by a love of colour, texture, and the expressive qualities of watercolour. I draw inspiration from the landscapes and light of Western Australia, reimagining the places I visit to bring them to life in new and unexpected ways. In addition to my practice, I have recently begun teaching, sharing my enthusiasm for this challenging but rewarding medium. I am a member of the Watercolour Society of Western Australia (2023) and WASA (2024), and my goal is to transition from my career in software development to full-time professional art.
