Artist Statement

My desire as an artist is to use acrylic paints to delve in to a wonderful space where I infuse some character in to the work of painting birds. With this I hope to encourage the viewer to relate to the painting, then enjoy and respect our wildlife. Detailed painting is irrelevant as my aim is to capture something of their character and movement. Most of my works have a gloss varnish to enhance the colour.
