Artist Statement

I am inspired by the lovely Perth Hills where I live, as well as Greek Myths, and use these as metaphors for my personal psychological landscape. Using connective dots and lines I bring together different painted papers , and create further cohesion/connection with stitching to form a larger picture. The idea of multiple narratives and perspectives is expressed through the layering and overlapping of materials.
