Artist Statement

Working within the realm of realism, Suzana Bozanic is an emerging oil painter exploring what it means to remain true to self. She is drawn to people, beauty, and considered compositions. Whether telling a story or investigating colour and light, her subjects include portraiture, human nature, still life, flora and fauna. An active member of the Western Australian Society of Arts, Suzana has participated in live portrait painting, completed several private commissions and been a finalist. As a WASA member, her work has received internal recognition and has been exhibited in the Society’s annual exhibitions. She seeks continual growth, enriching her technical skill while deepening her understanding of self and the world around her through oils.
