Artist Statement

I am constantly trying to capture the beauty of light on our world glancing off and highlighting objects and nature to create magic. To express light on a canvas and to have the world seen through that light, will be my lifelong quest and I can’t imagine that there will ever be a time when I might think “now I have got it!”. I use oil paints primarily in this quest as I find them forgiving and subtle. I particularly love painting seascapes.
