Artist Statement

My practice is intuitive and process-driven, allowing each work to develop through layering, drawing, colour and adjustment. I often begin without a fixed outcome, responding to what emerges and allowing unexpected marks and ideas to shape the direction of the work. I enjoy the balance between intention and chance, and the quiet discovery that comes through making.
