Artist Statement

Lara Louise Karpeljuk Originally from Hamburg, I fell in love with the vibrant landscape this country has to offer, which heavily reflects in my artworks. I paint in a naïve, hard-edge style, using it to create Australian landscapes and floral arrangements. I also use a variety of mark-making techniques to soften the overall feel of my work. My landscapes are highly relatable, transforming the scenes around me into colourful designs.
