Artist Statement

I am a Wanneroo-based artist. My work is guided by intuition, often beginning with a simple question: what if? What if I try this? What if I let the paint move differently? What if I trust the unexpected? Each painting evolves in response to my inner landscape - my moods, my reflections, and they rhythms of daily life. I am drawn to surfaces that feel aged, worn, & richly textured - imperfect, layered and full of history.
