Artist Statement

I started painting about 15 years ago, and draw in pencil and fine-point pen, and paint in watercolour, mostly botanical art, local wildflowers. I use the botanical art style of drawing and painting to draw and paint other things such as scenery, people, objects, etc, including what’s known as “urban sketching”. I’ve travelled to China, Italy and India with the Watercolour Society of WA, of which I’m a member. I also belong to the Wildflower Society
