There is never quiet time when you aim to make an impact in the community and considering we strive to service and build three significant areas, we need strong, integrated support.
We are very pleased to introduce you to our new look website, created and hosted by Art Galleria, who deliver our key inventory software. We are now in a position to share much more of the art that our participants are creating, our artists are making and connect our community in one place.
- Defence, Defence family and veteran budding artists are now able to register in the site for Defence Art Skills Programs. Head to Art Skills Program tab or simply click on the Register button found on the header.
- The Art Show: Army Art, Expression of Interest forms are available in the site alongside additional information. You can apply now at the base of any of the pages in Art Show. Once invited, artists will be able to upload their entries and information direct to the online system.
- Art loving public, we are launching an Artist of the Month feature. A rotating online exhibition facility celebrating individual artists from The Art Show. Art will be available to purchase and enquiries are welcomed.
Tickets will also be much easier to purchase for Opening Night. Lock the dates in your diary found in the Art Show tab and you will be able to buy direct from the Ticket button found at the header. Ticket sales will open closer to the Art Show.
Defence Art Skills Program resumes at Irwin Barracks
Watercolour Warriors is back, hosted by 10th Light Horse Regiment. Free to any ADF personnel in West Australia, it runs Thursdays, 07:00 to 10:00 through to 2nd July 2026. All materials are provided.
Lead by Jane Zandi and suitable for all levels of experience, you will find your way into the magical world of watercolour. It is structured to ensure you do not miss out if requirements do not allow you attend each week.
